The Demo Exchange

The Demo Exchange

markets.mecone.trade is a live perpetual-futures terminal where every market is priced and settled against a Mecone index. It exists to prove the whole chain in front of you, from de-vigged crowd distribution to mark, PnL, and liquidation.

⚠️

It is a demo, not a venue. All trading is paper: simulated positions, a play-money balance, no chain, no funds. Every public surface carries a PAPER / SIMULATED label. Mecone’s business is the oracle; the terminal is the showcase.

What you see per market

  • Oracle — the live Mecone index level: the number we sign and publish.
  • Mark — the demo’s trading price, an EMA that tracks the oracle; your PnL and liquidations mark to it.
  • Funding — the periodic premium transfer that pulls the mark back to the oracle (shown at the conventional 8h display interval).
  • Depth — real order-book depth from the underlying prediction market, never fabricated. Markets whose venue reports volume in contracts (not dollars) honestly show a dash.
  • Chart — the stored, immutable index series: identical on every reload, because ticks are persisted once and never recomputed.

Why it matters

The mark you trade against on the terminal is the same value published to the Stork oracle network and readable from the on-chain consumer on Arbitrum Sepolia (quickstart). API today, on-chain read at go-live; the data shape is identical by design, so the demo is an honest preview of the exact settlement path a venue would integrate.
